A darker entry into the series here, as we look at what happens surrounding Nikoli, a character we've grown to love since the first book 'Secrets', and his high school love, Sabrina. He finally has her after she was 'given' to Viktor, who in turn gave her to him. Of course, Viktor and Niko's part in the whole 'giving people away' thing isn't as bad as it sounds, as it was known that Sabrina and Niko shared feelings. She could have ended up somewhere far, far worse.
After starting off with the day to day life of the pair, as they keep Sabrina hidden and she helps Elaina plan her wedding to Viktor, it doesn't take too long before their lives are abruptly turned upside down when they finally let their guard down for a moment and the threat makes their move. Will they both get through it in one piece, and will they finally realise just how much they love one another?
Although the circumstances around it were awful and sad, it was fab that they found someone from Niko's past and I liked the addition of the Beau character, I hope we get to see more from him. Unwanted Sacrifices was another enjoyable read in the ongoing lives of the Russkaya Mafiya/Oath Keepers MC series and I'm looking forward to whoever comes next. I give this one 4 stars.
