I'm going to start by saying I have never read Kim Jones before so had no idea what I was going in to.

I realise this is an extension of a previous series, but for me I don't think it mattered that I hadn't read the previous books. This story was definitely stand alone, and although it did initially take me a short while to get into it, for what reason I couldn't say to be honest, but once I did I really enjoyed it. So much so, I put my kids to bed then sat and read for 4 hours straight, I couldn't put it down.

Delilah was sassy and strong, going for what she wanted. Or at least that's how she certainly appears at the beginning. Then we find out the truth.

Bryce, a giant of a Sergeant at Arms, was direct and powerful from the moment we met him. Not in a cocky "I AM MAN" way though, which I really liked. Although he was described as massive (not hard coming from someone who is only 5'3" lol), and scary for the role he had to play within the club, he was also described in a way that you could see him, but could also see the gentleness and care he had in him. I really liked Bryce.

Once Bryce sees Delilah, that's when the story really kicks off. I can't say much about that or it may give spoilers, grr. I will say though, I liked how he handled her, both physically and mentally. And damn were some of those "handlings" HOT.

I won't lie, yes I could tell from some things that were said, that there were previous books, and while some of the events that happened in those books were mentioned, I don't think they were spoiled in here, and so I think I will go back and read those when I get chance. This certainly won't be the last Kim Jones book I read, that's for sure and Clubwhore gets 4.5 stars from me.
