Heart of a Rebel is book 6, and the finale in the current story arc, of the Black Rebel Riders MC. At the end of book 5 (Romeo) we had seen main characters die, lives upturned and basically the whole club was fighting to not fall apart.
Heart of a Rebel starts a few weeks after Romeo ends and focuses on Baby, Romeo, Rebel and Grim.
Baby, her main focus now on her son Colt, doesn't know where things stand with Romeo and her head is so messed up with thoughts of Striker, Rumor, Romeo and Grim I'm impressed the girl can still function so well.
Romeo, after finding out about secrets kept from him for years, is torn with what to do with Baby, LL, his children and just life in general.
Rebel, is tormented by what happened in book 5 and his role in it all. Now he's on his own. With his brother gone, his club in a mess and tied up in deals with rival clubs he desperately needs to get out off, Rebel turns to drink to drown it all out.
Grim is, well you don't really know where Grim is until near the end so I'll let you read for yourself where he is.
Heart of a Rebel, has you feeling sad (the first chapter alone crushed me because of which character it was and what was happening), happy, excited, angry, amused and just plain heartbroken all in a few hundred pages. There are some BIG shocks in this book, some that have you cheering and a couple that have you shaking your head at the actions of the characters involved.
I really enjoyed Heart of a Rebel, I think it was a great way to end the story arc. I'm not going to say what my favourite bits were because they would be spoilers, but I'm excited for what will come next within the Black Rebel Riders' MC world.
These books are not standalones, I would suggest you read the first books in the series before reading Heart of a Rebel because there is a lot of back story needed for this book to make sense.
