Gage sees Raven and just knows she is different and someone he needs to meet; well basically he wants to know if she belongs to someone else. Raven doesn’t want anything to do with Gage, or even the MC. I really liked it, the different problems that had to be overcome so to speak.
I am not going to spoil this for anyone, I will just state that I can’t wait for book 2. If you are looking for a quick, entertaining read, then this should be added to your TBR list. I give this 4 MJ stars, and only for the reason that I hate cliffhangers, but I do not regret this read one bit. I just need to know what happens next!

What inspired you to write your first novel?
The face
that launched a thousand ships – heartbreak. Written many years ago but I may
just re-write and release it.
Is anything in your books based on true life?
Yes. I
use personal experience a lot. Also, all of my heroines have one or a few of my
personality traits. In Forbidden, Raven got my love of reading and music

Shakespeare, Chaucer, Mark Twain, Harper Lee

Any new authors interested you lately?
I haven’t been
reading much lately but I like Sapphire Knight, Winter Travers, Xyla Turner,
Arie Lane. Also, two authors who have debuts coming up – Annelise Reynolds and
Jemma Bell.
On the occasions you get to read yourself, who do you
read?
Callie and Lili.
Mostly, my mood dictates what I
read, not the author. Sometimes I want historical romance, sometimes dark,
sometimes paranormal etc.
Outside family, who do you feel has supported you on
your journey as a writer?
My friends are my biggest support system. If it
wasn’t for their encouragement, I wouldn’t have attempted publishing. To be
fair to my family, I haven’t told them yet :(
Given the chance would you go back and change anything
in one of your books?
Definitely. Everything I write goes through a million
drafts. Forbidden turned out a lot differently than the original. Even now,
there are things that I would love to add to it.
What is the most challenging aspect of writing for you?
Writing is the easy part. It’s the worrying whether or not people will like
it that’s the problem. I’ve been writing for years and no one knew until
recently because I thought no one would like it. So I guess the most
challenging aspect is writing something others will enjoy.
Do you do a lot of research for your books, or is all
from your heart and mind?
Mostly from me but there are aspects that I do a
lot of research on to make sure that what I write is authentic.
When you’re not writing, what do you like to do?
Listen to music, read, movies
Do you have a favourite time/place to write?
I can
write anytime and anywhere but most of my writing is done before bed. I keep a
notebook with me at all times because ideas come to me at the strangest times.
Do you have any bad writing habits?
YES! I tend to
write in bits and pieces and then put them together. My current WIP, I left off
at chapter 3 and started writing stuff that will probably end up somewhere in
the middle. The thing is, I now want to continue from there instead of going
back to the beginning.
