| I really enjoyed this book. A great introduction to Ana and Jackson and all that the town of Chastity Falls brings. Ana is basically running away from a bad situation/memories. Her running leads her to Chastity Falls Academy, where she befriends and ends up falling for Jackson. Unbeknown to her though is Jackson has secrets of his own, that could come between them and quite literally be a case of a life and death situation. I liked the characters, Ana's roommate Elena is someone I'd love to know in real life! All the characters gave something, not one was badly done, although I really wanted to slap the twins of doom! I enjoyed it so much, I one clicked Book 2 straight away. |

The second visit to Chastity Falls Academy is more angsty than book one. After the events of Loyalty & Lies, Jackson has broken it off with Ana. She's drowning again. He's realising that he can't get her out of his mind and no matter what he does, Ana will end up in the firing line anyway.
Salvation and Secrets was a nicely written part two. It went deeper into the life Jackson has, and showed Ana finally stick up for herself a little. I really enjoyed book two as much as the first. I can't wait for book 3.
